Hatobue project is a website renewal project for a nursery school. The design was not provided at the time, the client requested the design to be child-friendly and appealing to the parents of prospect students. We used pastel colors and used fun shapes for buttons and images.

The website’s functions include school overview, facilities, news page, instagram feed, faq, regulations (dynamic with pdf), parent’s feedback, grievances & resolutions (dynamic updated by client annually), inquiry form, and career page.

This website renewal project is made for Little Starfish International School located in Kanagawa prefecture. The client requested a visually appealing website, very far from its previous look. This website showcases the school’s philosophy, offered courses, admission guide, parent’s feedback, news page, and several form pages.

Only the landing page design was provided by the designer so I decided the look and feel of the other pages based on the said given design. The front-page has a dynamic slider which can be controlled in the dashboard. I had fun coding and designing this website.

Suzunoya Kituke is a website renewal project for a Kimono Dressing school.

The course schedule function is coded purely using PHP as the business owners wanted the layout and function to be the same as their old website.

In my previous agency, designers only usually provide designs for Desktop and the web developers will be the one to make it mobile-friendly, however in this project, there were no designs provided for both Desktop and mobile so the design responsibility was given on me. I gladly accepted and worked on my design skills. The colors used and the over-all theme was my idea. The images are from the client. The front-end was built using EJS/SCSS through gulp.js.

After making the front-end, I convert it to a custom theme using underscores.me as a boilerplate and work my way from there.
