Golf Sports Brand

Kasco project is a huge website migration and renewal project from my previous company, which consists of a total of 6 WordPress websites (KASCO, Wilson, Vatic, Hunting World, Trans Continents Golf, and Yakpak Golf). All the contents and images are outdated and needed to be freshen up to elevate the brand and match up to its competitors in Japan such as the Callaway brand. Kasco Golf is a global brand that offers golf sporting products and is a distributor of other major golf brands in Japan.

I created the custom WordPress themes in collaboration with engineers who made the online shop function of the site using Welcart. For all the other functions, I used several WordPress plugins. ACF and a particular CSV migration tool is especially used as we deal with a lot of data inputs from their old websites.

This project has been one of my last projects in my previous company before I moved out of Japan, therefore, this one’s definitely memorable.

Hatobue project is a website renewal project for a nursery school. The design was not provided at the time, the client requested the design to be child-friendly and appealing to the parents of prospect students. We used pastel colors and used fun shapes for buttons and images.

The website’s functions include school overview, facilities, news page, instagram feed, faq, regulations (dynamic with pdf), parent’s feedback, grievances & resolutions (dynamic updated by client annually), inquiry form, and career page.

This is a simple, modern website with functions for news page and contact form. It also uses gtranslate plugin in wordpress to attract international consumers. The images and design are provided by the client.

This website renewal project is made for Little Starfish International School located in Kanagawa prefecture. The client requested a visually appealing website, very far from its previous look. This website showcases the school’s philosophy, offered courses, admission guide, parent’s feedback, news page, and several form pages.

Only the landing page design was provided by the designer so I decided the look and feel of the other pages based on the said given design. The front-page has a dynamic slider which can be controlled in the dashboard. I had fun coding and designing this website.

This project is a website made for a scrap and automobile recycling company. Recycling is a big industry in Japan as each community has strict policies in waste disposal and management. Separation of recyclables from other waste categories are done religiously in each household. Selling of recycled automobile parts is also a promising industry as Japan fights for global warming issues.

The client requested for a website renewal project to modernize the look and feel of their website. The functions of this website is for the purpose of showcasing the company’s business overview as well as posting of information, announcements, and job vacancies. It also has one inquiry form page. Overall, I delighted in making this website as I am thrilled on making such attractive and visually stimulating websites.

This website is a renewal project created for a real estate company in Tochigi prefecture in Japan. Their old website is made of PHP and is very old. The client would like to keep the Japanese style and feel of their old website (Japanese websites tends to be overcrowded with a lot of texts, images, and information), but they want to upgrade in using WordPress CMS due to ease of use.

This website is probably one of the most old and complex website our previous agency ever made. Our team is composed by myself, and two outsourced web developers from the Philippines. Functions of this website includes: Favorites list, map search, category search, various forms, property popularity ranking, google street view, and blog.

MORI Personnel Creates is a comprehensive human resources business company specializing in the fashion and apparel industry. This website is a collaboration between two agencies. I was assigned to create the front-end of this website in which design was provided by the design agency.

I love all things visual, so when I’m able to create cute websites like this, I feel satisfied. Gulp.js makes it easy to create web pages with EJS/SCSS before converting it to wordpress custom themes.

This is a simple catalog website that showcases the products, the prices, and business locations. Contact Form 7 plugin is used for the forms. This plugin is widely used in Japan.

Bitona is a beauty product website. It was launched with only few products to sell. Most of our clients in my previous agency are startup companies therefore seeing these companies survive the harsh economy makes me love my job even more.

The client gave the color theme to be used which should match the logo. I used a clean-looking custom theme that showcases the products and the company’s story.

Some plugins are used in this website to add details to the products.

Suzunoya Kituke is a website renewal project for a Kimono Dressing school.

The course schedule function is coded purely using PHP as the business owners wanted the layout and function to be the same as their old website.

In my previous agency, designers only usually provide designs for Desktop and the web developers will be the one to make it mobile-friendly, however in this project, there were no designs provided for both Desktop and mobile so the design responsibility was given on me. I gladly accepted and worked on my design skills. The colors used and the over-all theme was my idea. The images are from the client. The front-end was built using EJS/SCSS through gulp.js.

After making the front-end, I convert it to a custom theme using underscores.me as a boilerplate and work my way from there.
